Courtney graduated from RMIT University with Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).
She was born and raised in North West Regional Victoria in Mildura and moved to Melbourne at the age of 18 to begin her studies. From a young age she had a passion for nutrition and exercise, and developed a keen interest in pursuing a career in manual therapy through family members who worked in the field. She discovered Osteopathy whist seeking treatment for recurrent headaches during VCE and was amazed by the whole body approach to treatment and management.
Her interests lie in treating neck pain and headaches, shoulder complaints and sporting injuries with a hands on approach and appropriate lifestyle advice. Courtney has also recently undertaken introductory
Pilates training, and utilises the principles she has learnt to complement her osteopathic treatment and management.
When Courtney is not studying or working, you will find her in an F45 class, walking her pride and joy (her pug) or feeding her love for bircher muesli at various cafes around Melbourne.
She is thrilled to be apart of the Avesenna team and is ready and willing to help patients from all walks of life!
